The work demonstrates the process of the maturation of new conceptions of the organization of sound, although a strong influence of traditional solutions as regards, for example, the general formal dispositions, can still be noticed in the piece. The Partita represents that variety of a cyclical arrangement, which consists of several absolutely independent with regard to the material - pieces, including Prelude, Toccata, Intermezzo and Rondo.
