''For his films, Wajda wants music that not only serves as the the background, merely adding to the image says Kilar ''but also has artistic value in itself, giving it life outside of the film. I find the subject matter of his films inspiring - they deal with things very dear to me, related to our history. Ive never had problems with Andrzej Wajda's films.
