Opera musica
for 4-Voice Choir
Over twenty interesting compositions by an unknown composer (discovered by Jaromír Černy) from the time of Dufay, supplement in an essential way the picture of the musical past of Central Europe of the 15th century (Bohemia, Germany, Poland and Silesia). The annex contains a set of independent variants and arrangements of the works by Peter of Grudencz showing the extent and the range of the influence of his creative output. Peter of Grudencz's works represent a type of popular polyphony of social and entertaining nature cultivated in university circles, in monasteries and fraternities
