This booklet is of a didactic character and is designed for preschool and early school children. The author, drawing on a few facts from the life of Fryderyk Chopin, acquaints the youngest generation with the figure and music of the composer in a simple, straightforward way. The perception of the book is aided with numerous illustrations that reflect the climate and atmosphere of nineteenth-century Europe. The illustrator has left a few places in the drawings white, to be coloured-in by children.
The included CD contains an audiobook read by a pupil. Each chapter of the book is closed by a piece by Chopin which comes out of Fryceks tale, which significantly increases the didactic value of the book.
