Classical Guitar
The present textbook is intended for all those who wish to study the guitar. It may be used either for self-instruction or for learning with a teacher. It is in the nature of a complete course, and so theoretical material has not been kept separate, but introduced gradually as the knowledge and skills of the pupil develop. The whole has been divided into four parts. In the first the instrument is described and those fundamentals of theory which are indispensable, prior to starting to play, are discussed. In the second part the basic guitar techniques are presented and the aim of the third part is to perfect them. The last part presents some effective techniques used in guitar music. All the pieces included in the textbook have been provided with suitable methodical commentaries. The present textbook is dedicated to all those who are fond of guitar music and who would like to get to know the secrets of playing this beautiful instrument.
