The sixth volume of the PWM Edition Musical Encyclopaedia (M) contains over 800 entries and discusses the activities of persons connected with music from antiquity to contemporary times. It includes comprehensive entries on such composers as Moniuszko, Monteverdi, Mahler, Mendelssohn and Messiaen by outstanding Polish musicologists.
