Ładnienie is an extremely important piece in the evolution of the composer's aesthetic. Its internal focus and sometimes shocking expression is evidence of the occurrence of a breakthrough. Mykietyn gave an extremely gripping, personal, almost intimate reflection on the basis of Świetlickis text, which is itself a bitter diagnosis of life and the world as it is seen through the eyes of a sensitive artist. This thread, ubiquitous in the composers later vocal and instrumental works, took the form of an ominously-grotesque monologue for baritone in Ładnienie, developing against a background of a dreamy, unreal atmosphere built with the sounds of a chamber ensemble. Repeated swirling motifs, falling gradually through microtones, create a unique mood of resignation and hopelessness. At the same time the composer demands thinking about the eternal rub between that which belongs to the sphere of nature with that which is culture, showing the contrast between the sublime and the mundane. In recent works it is rather painfully felt - though he still includes very different acoustic elements taken from daily life in his music, the fun and carefree mood has evaporated unnoticed.
