The first collection in the Coro Religijne series, consisting of pieces for female choir a cappella arranged by Paweł Łukaszewski. There are 4 antiphons: O Radix Jesse, O Clavis David, O Oriens and O Rex Gentium. Each antiphon retains the unique nature of prayer, harmony dominated by chords of seconds adds extra spice. The composer frequently operates on dense chord blocks, however there is also no lack of polyphonic passages or dialogue between voices. This is an important collection, enriching the somewhat scarce literature for female choir.
