24 Studies
for Guitar, Opp. 6, 29
Fernando Sor was one of the most distinguished composer-guitarists of the first half of the 19th century. The present edition comprises op. 6 and op. 29. The first of these collections was composed and published in London about 1815-17. The other set of studies, op. 29, appeared in 1827, published by the Parisian publisher A. Meissounier. In the present edition opp. 6 and 29 are included in one collection. In conformity with the composer's intentions, they form a whole.
