''Homenaje a Manuel de Falla'' by Marek Pasieczny consists of two sections: the first one ''Lamento'' (Lamento) is a very expressive introduction, overflowing with sadness, leading to the more muted second section and is reminiscent of a kind of 'song-lament'', so characteristic and ever presented inthe flamenco - the authentic folk music of Spain. The second section is a contrasting ''Cancion'' (Song), peaceful and contemplative in nature, based on the motif of repeated minor third.
The form of ''Fantasia'' by Barbara Kaszuba is free, using characteristic means of guitar technique. It can provide both a technical and musical display for the performer.
