In the last week of July (22-29.07.2018), the 41st Days of Music by Karol Szymanowski will take place in Zakopane. During this year's edition of the festival a number of chamber concerts and recitals are planned. The program will be dominated by 'classics' of the nineteenth and twentieth century: Chopin, Paderewski, Górecki, also Bartòk, Beethoven or Ravel. Of course, there will be plenty of Karol Szymanowski's music as well.

Not Venice, but the Newman Recital Hall in Los Angeles will be the venue, on 15 October, for the first performance of Marcel Chyrzyński’s latest composition ‘Death in Venice’, a chamber work scored for clarinet, cello and piano. It will be performed by Andrew Leonard (cl) and the Cracow Duo of Jan Kalinowski (vc) and Marek Szlezer (pf).

A special event will take place in just a little over a week - February 17, Maria Rozynek (soprano) and the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio conducted by Agnieszka Duczmal will perform a concert made up of six new works by Polish composers.
