Concerto for Viola and Orchestra
piano reduction
An atmosphere of serenity, optimism and cheerful spontaneity of the Concerto for two pianos and orchestra no longer prevails in this composition. Only vitalism remains, but the work has an air of nostalgy about it. Its dark colours are occasionally marked by sarcasm and irony also directed towards the latest gains ''from the new world''.
