In respect of methodology, this music appreciation textbook for third year students is a continuation of the books ''Our First Notes'' and ''Gay Notes and Songs''. It is intended for primary music schools (music appreciation and rhythmical training). It contains 150 melodic and rhythmic exercises and over 50 songs, whose piano and percussion accompaniments have been included in the accompanying songbook Wandering with a Song. In addition, the authors suggest several arrangements of musical action games and dances that could be used during the rhythmical training classes. The textbook ends with an epilogue which presents methods of work on particular theoretical problems, ways of performing the exercises as well as the above-mentioned arrangements of rhythmical games and dances. The order of musical problems is discussed in accordance with the recommended teaching curriculum of primary music schools, including games and rhythmical exercises.
