Krzysztof Ratajski

KRZYSZTOF RATAJSKI was born in Warsaw on 17th June 1972. In 2001-2005 he lived in Argentina, where he attended Los Molios international bilingual school. In 2012 he commenced his higher education at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw at the Department of Composition under prof. Zbigniew Bagiński. He initially took his piano lessons in Argentina, later in Warsaw as a student of music. Starting with 2012, he attended many student concerts, e.g. at the Fryderyk Chopin Society, the Royal Castle in Warsaw and special occasion concerts. Apart from composing classical music, Ratajski also focuses on jazz and piano improvisation. He is an active member of the Student Science and Artistic Organisation, participates in concerts and festivals in Warsaw and Poznań, where some of his works have been presented: Urojenia, Qi, Prana, Studium Timore, Noktodymensja, Pertraktacje, Synthesis.
