Concerto in C major
for Piano and String Ensemble
In the concerto, the piano plays a double role: that of a solo instrument ant the role of the so-called basso continuo. If the composition is performed on the pianos, the solo piano may omit all the tuttis in Movement I, whereas when the composition is performed with ensamble, the whole part is to be played without omissions. The piano score has also been adapted to the technical ability of pupuls of a primary school of music.
