2016-06-08
Concerto for trombone and orchestra by Kazimierz Serocki will be staged in Chiba (Japan) on 26th June. The solo part will be performed by Daisuke Ueno with the participation of New Philharmonic Orchestra of Chiba conducted by Kazufumi Yamashita.
Serocki’s Concerto for trombone and orchestra is one of rare 20th-century concert works dedicated to trombone. It was written with a view to an outstanding performer, Juliusz Pietrachowicz. The Concerto is intended for concert performances, featuring a form of a small, four-partite symphony with a solo lead part of trombone.
