Album per pianoforte
The collection of the most interesting piano pieces by Maria Szymanowska, the first Polish pianist and a talented composer who gained worldwide fame. Her output left an impression on the works by other composers, including Fryderyk Chopin as well. Her works are diverse and the reviews preserved to our times allow to believe that her contemporaries highly valued originality of her pieces and performance. The present edition was based on the first publications and in case of its lack – on the later ones. The performance markings were usually replicated from those editions.
