The present edition consists of short piano works that are ones of the earliest compositions by Rózycki. The short works included in this edition are impromptus, nocturnes and preludes, which are typical salon genres. They gained popularity in the Polish lands mainly through the reception of Chopin,s music. The composer created colourful diamonds that could easily be shining in the sound of the piano nowadays.
