Mass of the New Aeon Perhaps the factor that most profoundly undermines the roots of religion is the belief that the revelation in time and space will end. Many mystics of different religious traditions for thousands of years have been witnesses to another insight: That their roads were not mere exploration of what has been transmitted, but a continuation of the revelation, whose aim is the uniting, releasing and deification (theosis) of everything in God. The text of this mass comes out of this assumption, and inspired by the tradition that the Apostle of the Apostles (as Augustine himself called her) did not start, or complete, her mission only in historical time two thousand years ago. The strength of her great spirit was and is present in human history in many other ways, in time and space as the beloved disciple of the Master of Nazareth, whom only she greeted with a kiss on the mouth and it is she who became an essential flame that brought about the rise of that never setting sun, to ignite his heart in boundless love for all people and the world. The Roman Catholic church rightly reveres her as the Chosen, which even before the Circle of Twelve, as she was the first allowed to see the Risen Lord in his new form. I am full of admiration for this great composition by Paweł Łukaszewski, whose expression fantastically senses the dynamics of the events expressed in the text of the mass. Likewise, his compositional work is a part of this never-ending process of revelation, until ''God may be all in all'' (cf. 1 Cor 15, 28). Jacek M. Sylwester Kwiatkowski Jacek M. Sylwester Kwiatkowski studied theology and theology of spirituality and worked for many years as a Catholic priest in Switzerland. The focus of his research is the mysticism of world religions, alchemy and esotericism. He has lived in Wrocław since Autumn 2010, where he works as a therapist, a journalist, in personal counseling and leads workshops about meditation and the transformation of consciousness.
