Wings Concertino is a chamber version of Wings Concerto , originally composed for two flutes and chamber orchestra. This work was written in a charming convention. The combination of a light neoclassical style with a Romantic mode of narration not only makes it easy on the ear, but also gives great satisfaction to the performers. Despite employing sparing means of expression, the composer has forged a soundworld that is highly suggestive, achieving intense expression filled with vitality.
