Easy Pieces for Two Cellos
After Little Virtuoso, addressed to young pianists, and Colourful Notes for violinists, this time I wanted to compose something which might interest beginner cellists.
Together with the growing interest in music schools in playing in chamber music ensembles I decided to add to our native pedagogical literature for cellists who want to play in duets.
Singing Cellos is a collection of a dozen miniatures, diverse in character and mood, addressed to the older classes of music primary school or the early classes of secondary music school. The titles of particular pieces reflect their programmatic character and serve to stimulate the imagination of young performers.
