At the 56th International Art Exhibition in Venice Poland will be represented by Joanna Malinowska and C.T. Jasper and their panoramic film screening of the recording of the staging of Stanisław Moniuszko's "Halka", organised in collaboration with the Polish community in Haiti.

Polish artists living in New York decided to stage "Halka", Polish national opera by Stanisław Moniuszko, on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, in Haiti. "Halka/Haiti" in the Polish Pavilion in Venice is a recording of their undertaking.
