This is a kind of 'double concerto': for solo percussion and a concerto for orchestra with accompanying electronic sound layer. The solo percussion part is treated in a brilliant virtuosic manner. In the percussion a major role is played by metal instruments such as crotales, Thai gongs, cymbals, tam-tams and virtuoso marimba. The electronic sounds for the work were prepared by Japanese composer Kotoka Suzuki.
