Polish Dances op. 37
for piano
Triptych Polish Dances op. 37 is a unique collection compared to Ludomir Różycki's work.
For Różycki, inspirations from Polish folklore are an excuse to fantasize and create fascinating musical images distinguished by interesting harmonies, original rhythms and articulatory diversity. In these miniatures we will find a synthesis of various dances, modal thinking derived from folklore, interpenetration of major and minor modes, and rhythmic shifts. The nuances of tempo, motivic variability, articulatory diversity and dynamic contrasts are noteworthy.
The performance arrangement of Polish Dances was prepared by Grzegorz Mania.
