„The action in the work depends upon a certain thinning, Mykietyn tries to convince the listener that time is flexible and it is possible to pull it about a little. The form creating mechanism can be defined as operations slowing the tempo. The sound is split, and the texture becomes a little less clear through changes of time relations between groups of instruments. Mykietyn's Concerto, expressively somewhat aloof, is not devoid of drama.
