The ballet ''The Funfair '' recreates the atmosphere of carefree fun and entertainment in an amusement park. A simple and naive intrigue is a pretext to present various games and dances and to create comic situational effects. Rhythmic and full of spirited dance, the music contains themes of old social dances, circus marches and fairground songs, arranged in modern instrumentation, the aim of which is capturing the characteristic sound the noisy music heard in amusement parks.
