Concerto for Violin and String Orchestra
The Concerto for violin and string orchestra was composed in the early autumn of 2006. Inspired by Andrzej Gębski, a highly talented young violinist, today the professor of the Fryderyk Chopin University in Warsaw.
The music of this piece, which is an example of the trend known as the 'new simplicity', contains its expressiveness and melodic wealth in the brilliantly written violin part.
