This set of nine short pieces for flute and piano For Children comprises three miniature triptychs arranged according to difficulty.
The first of them contains the easiest pieces, while the second makes greater demands on the performers. The three miniatures that close the set introduce such features as a changing metre and a broader compass. Of course, each of the pieces can be played by itself, regardless of which triptych it belongs to.
Both the flute and piano parts are intended for young performers.
