Concert Overture in D major, OP.1 ,Series 1, Vol.3
This volume opens with a source-critical edition of the works of F. Dobrzyński, who left behind a rich legacy, especially in the field of chamber music and symphony. It is the composer's earliest symphonic work. It is worth emphasizing that at the time when the overture was written, this genre already had a certain tradition in Polish music, whose authors were F. Lessel and K. Lipiński. The publication, apart from the scores, includes an introduction to the composition, a biographical note and a critical commentary.
