''Sonata breve'' and ''Rapsodia'' are compositions intended for advanced students of the art of playing the accordion. The first piece was written for concert accordion with melodic bass manuals or 120 bass accordion, which is required to perform the second piece. Both compositions surprise the listener with frequent changes of metre, a wide dynamic range and expression.
