Sonatina
for Oboe and Piano
In the Sonatina the composer enjoys employing illusion effects, formally giving the whole an appearance of classic, regular structure, disturbed by unexpected diminution (...) surprising stretta or in operating through the overlapping of diatonic layers in close intervals, forming a prismatic breaking of tonality.
