2018-06-07DUX has released a disc featuring works for flute and piano by Polish composers. The performers, Agata Kielar-Długosz and Andrzej Jungiewicz, present works by composers whose music is rooted in various twentieth-century trends. The disc will include works from the PWM catalogue: Wojciech Kilar’s ‘Sonatina’, Witold Lutosławski’s ‘Three Fragments for flute and piano’ and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki’s ‘For you, Anne-Lill’. There are also works by Andrzej Panufnik, Piotr Perkowski, Aleksander Tansman and Krzysztof Penderecki.
2015-11-12The November music meetings, organised under the patronage of a Silesian composer, Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, will be held for the third time in Katowice.
